Phil, FireFly! were fantastic playing at Linda’s party, and hugely contributed to the success of the the evening. Everyone we have spoken to, or who have sent us messages, has said what a brilliant band you are and how the music you played was exactly what everyone wanted to hear and to dance to. So to you and each member of the band a big, big ‘thank you’ from everyone who was there and especially from my daughter Julie, Linda and me.

Hi Philip, Just got back from honeymoon. Charlotte and I both wanted to say a massive thank you to Firefly for their great performance at our wedding on the 10th September at West Heath. Everything from the first dance to the end was fantastic and we have had so many great comments about how good they were and how they made the night.

Just got back from honeymoon and wanted to say a massive thank you to you & the rest of the band, you all did such an incredible job at our wedding bringing the party to life in the evening & I did not get off the dance floor all night! Not only that but you went that extra mile to learn “hold on” especially for me & it was such a special treat to have all my friends dancing to my favourite song. Morning Phil. Please say a big thank you to the band for putting on a wonderful show last Saturday night. All the guests we’ve spoken to since the party have commented on how great the music and singing was, so many compliments, “awesome party”, “fantastic evening”, “fantastic party”, “great night”, “the icing on the cake for Kim”, “she’ll never forget her 50th”.
Plus the classic quote from our German guests, “pay them some more money, we want another hour” then after explaining our licencing laws, “well pay them to come back to your house”! I hope Saturday night generates plenty of future work.

Firefly performed at two charity events for DGS Mencap in April 2006 and September 2007. At both events the band were excellent and had everyone up dancing within minutes! DGS Mencap supports people with learning disabilities who were present at the events and Firefly catered to their needs whilst also accommodating everyone’s endless song requests! They are a superb band and I’d recommend them to anyone holding an event, in fact I’ve been asked many times for their details! Thank you FireFly! for two absolutely fantastic nights.
